For free you may wish to roam through the beautiful Redwood forest, visit the blue and green lakes and the water falls, dangle your feet in the foot bath at our Kuirau Park, enjoy the gardens in our lovely Queens Parade or visit in the twilight of an evening, the hundreds of birds of many species coming to roost at Sulphur Point.

You may choose to go to the Rainbow Springs Kiwi wildlife Park, or the Lion Park, the agrodome with the sheep show and farm tour. Go on a cruise on the Lakeland Queen, go up on the gondola and down on the luge, experience the ‘Zorb’ the agoventures with the Swoop, Agrojet, Freefall Xtreme, Shweeb and Bungy, go jet boating or white water rafting, quiet kayaking or maybe squeezing between cliffs to bathe under a hot water fall or to White Island on a tour by helicopter or boat.
 

Ideal location for Mountain Biking as we are really close to the Redwood forest trails.
 

You may wish to visit our famous geothermal fields with the geysers, the boiling mud, coloured mineral lakes and of course with the aroma of the sulphur, followed by a soak in the Polynesian mineral spa pool or go for a mud bath at Hells gate Waiora Spa.
